Breaking the Cycle of Poverty, Violence and Mental Health Challenges Through Collaboration and Action
Building Stronger Communities 2026
This national conference will bring together leaders, practitioners, policymakers, frontline professionals and community stakeholders to explore practical solutions for creating safer, healthier and more resilient communities.
26–27 November 2026
Emperors Palace, Kempton Park, Johannesburg
The backdrop
South Africa continues to face significant challenges relating to gender-based violence, mental health, poverty, substance abuse, family instability and community safety.
In his recent national address on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide, President Cyril Ramaphosa emphasized that violence cannot be addressed by government alone. He called for a whole-of-society response involving communities, families, schools, workplaces, healthcare providers, faith-based organisations, NGOs, law enforcement, the justice sector and the private sector.
It is against this backdrop that PeaTree Consulting invites you to participate in Building Stronger Communities 2026.
